Georgios Rompolas is a cardiologist currently working as Clinical, Regulatory and Medical Director in Novo Nordisk. He studied medicine in AUTH and had a MSc in Clinical Research Methodology in the same university.
After he completed his specialty as cardiologist, he focused on echocardiography in Imperial College London for 1 year and he worked in Harefield Hospital, for 18 months where he expanded his knowledge in advanced heart failure, heart transplant and LVAD. He also worked in the private sector as a general cardiologist before joining pharmaceutical companies. In his career as MD in pharmaceutical companies, he is dedicated in cardiometabolic diseases.
