Dr Anne-Sophie Henry-Eude is a French doctor in Pharmacy with post-graduate degrees in Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance & Pharmacoepidemiology. She has been at the European Medicines Agency since 2011 working in the field of anti-infectives medicines, paediatric development and later, on transparency; she is now the head of the Documents access and Publication Department at EMA. The Documents access and Publication Department is at the forefront of EMA’s transparency initiatives, processes all requests received at EMA including requests to access documents and is responsible for the publication of clinical data under Policy 0070. With Clinical Data Publication (CDP), EMA was the first regulatory agency to publish clinical data supporting Marketing Authorisation Applications. The initiative was paused due to the Agency’s relocation from the UK to the Netherlands following Brexit and has been restricted to Covid-19-related products recently, but EMA is committed to transparency and is looking forward to developing CDP further.
